Baby Leggings

Don't you just love these baby leggings? They are so cute! ( I purchased them from this site, http://babylegs.com/ in case you were wondering.)I was having a tough time getting shots of Kadin this afternoon. He wouldn't stay in one spot for the life of him. Ever since he has started crawling that is all he wants to do and he is pretty darn fast at it too.

Grandpa and Grandma's House

The last few days we have been at Grandpa and Grandma's house. Colin and Kadin enjoyed Grandma's new outside toys. We went to the water park on Friday and had a blast. Colin didn't get to adventurous but enjoyed being there and Kadin barely wanted to go in the water. He didn't know what to think about all of it. All in all we had a great time visiting them. Kadin is Crawling!

Kadin started crawling yesterday. He was doing the army crawl and using one knee for the past month. Today he finally started to crawl the correct way. Colin enjoys copying him and tries to crawl right along with him.

Parade

Last night we watched the parade in our local town. Colin is patiently waiting for it to start. He actually enjoyed it this year being he was a little older than the previous years. The bands went by and he would clap for them. It was so cute!

Crying it Out

Dustin and I have been struggling with getting Colin to stay in his bed at night. We have tried almost everything I swear to avoid having to let him cry it out. Nothing has worked...he just doesn't want to stay in his bed. Therefore, I went to Target the other day to purchase a gate for his bedroom door. He absolutely hates it but I have ran out of things to do. I read him stories in his room before bedtime, tuck him in and tell him that "I love him," and then leave the room. He then proceeds to cry for at least twenty minutes before he finally drifts off to sleep. Let me tell you that is one of the hardest times in my life I think. Listening to your child cry for you and then forcing yourself to not go in his room and pick him up. Man, I sure hope this gets easier as the nights go on!

Hello Everyone!
I decided to start doing a blog basically for my kids. Having all the milestones written down in a blog should help me to actually remember them. So here goes nothing... I have been married to my best friend, Dustin for almost four years. We have two sons. Colin just turned two and Kadin is almost nine months old. (We also have a three year old yorkie named, Lily.)
